The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing. One of the highlights was the food. Every meal was outstanding, and Chef Damien made the experience unforgettable. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into each dish—it was easily some of the best food I’ve had while traveling. The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of their country. Be advised the main beach is quite small and very rocky, however you can take a kayak over to a much longer expanse of beach if long walks on the beach are your things. Also, they do provide watershoes -facilitating the process of walking over the rocks. The scenery is quite beautiful and they did have some extras which was much appreciated (free first dinner, free Indian river tour). I do recommend this place &..."Reviewed September 1, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Marigot (DOM)BOS - DOM • 1 stop DOM - BOS • 1 stop$5,333$4,618found 1 day agoper traveler

"Pictures very misleading, the lake was too abandoned to go near, there is no water park, the restaurant only served breakfast (not lunch and dinner like advertised), no hot springs. I ended up staying in my room all three days. The staff were really nice but I can tell they knew I felt scammed. I’ve contacted Expedia for some type of compensation twice and they said they’d reach back but no answer. Very disappointed. A waste of alot of money."

"Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)"
